Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation of a simple, low‑cost device that can block Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth signals in a selected area to support safer and fairer environments. The device is built using an ESP32 microcontroller, two nRF24L01 modules with power amplifiers, a custom circuit board and a rechargeable battery pack. It operates in the 2.4 GHz band and reduces the ability of nearby devices such as smartphones, wireless headsets, and speakers to connect to networks. Tests in controlled indoor settings showed a practical working range of around 30 m, depending on the antenna and surrounding conditions. The work highlights both the practical benefits for examination security and public safety, and the need for careful use within national laws and ethical standards.
